Day Six Pictures - Disney World
One of our first rides was the Jungle Cruise:
The Haunted Mansion was really great, but hard to get stills from...
Around lunchtime, we decided a little competition was in order
We couldn't resist getting this pic:
Of course, since my childhood nickname was "Tigger", we had to get THIS shot:
And because he was coaxing us in, this one, too:
We ate dinner in one of the restaurants that featured the characters and saw:
But no Mickey......*sniff*
We finished exploring just in time for the fireworks to start,
Madmartigan and I set out on a quest for photos.
We saw:
AND AT LAST.......THE ONE...THE ONLY.....
When the long day was over, we waved "goodbye" to Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse:
With a lot more money.......like after my first New York Times bestseller.....
Or when I win a major BIG Lottory......
And with about two weeks to devote between the Magic Kingdom and all the other parks
*sigh*

We were REALLY that red!
Even before eating breakfast, we had started mugging for the camera.
This was mostly taken for a co-worker who REALLY likes Goofy.
She wanted to be sitting in his lap...*grin*
We debated whether or not to make it a cheaper day by feeding the kids to this snake...
We decided to keep them for a while longer.
They got REAL quiet when they realized how close the natives were...
And got even quieter when they saw what the apes had done to our supply tent!
Our guide had Tantor well trained to "speak" as we sailed by...
But this one was less well trained (he missed TazGirl with the shower spray)
We thought of stopping here for a prayer or two, but Tazzy wouldn't let us
So we prayed to the Tiki Gods instead
especially since the method Mad used to catch it all made things look green.
We had to settle for a picture of the hearse from out front....
....regretfully without an occupant.
To see who would "rule" for the rest of the trip:
Obviously TazGirl couldn't pull the sword from the stone....
And neither could Madmartigan (though I think he messed his pants trying!)....
Tazzy and Avatar even tried ganging up on it, but to no avail.....
(Guess that means that, as navigator, I still rule!)
In Toontown, Avatar and Madmartigan decided they needed to be barnstormers!
Um, guys....I think you were supposed to go OVER the barn.....
*grin*
In the meantime, I got this shot of TazGirl in the gazebo behind Minnie Mouse's house.
I don't know WHO she thought SHE was fooling....*grin*
The sign in the back says "Trust me with your car".
Sure, kids - maybe in the NEXT millennium!

Avatar and TazGirl caught the fireworks in front of Cinderella's Castle
We returned in time for the Parade of Lights
The announcement at the beginning said it was the last season ever for this show
We're SO glad we bought a video camera with night vision!
(no bright light shining in the faces of the people you're filming...
.....so no one thinks you're getting anything despite the little red light.)
